Of course, everyone has heard of jello shots, but there are quite a few people I come across who have never heard or tried pudding shots.
I think of them as creamy, delicious, dairy goodness. Just about any flavor of pudding can be used. Some of our favorites are pistachio and butterscotch.
There are other more complicated, yet just as delicious recipes for pudding shots out there. Give good ole Pinterest a search and see for yourself. However, I like making these with RumChata because for they’re quick and simple.
Basic RumChata Pudding Shots

- 1 cup RumChata

Instructions
- Mix milk, pudding and RumChata until well thickened.Gently mix in Cool Whip with spatula, pour into plastic jello shot/condiment cups. Cover with lid. You can put them in a cake pan in layers to freeze, otherwise put them in plastic gallon bags and freeze.
Do you leave them in the freezer until ready to serve or will the fridge work if you’re saving them for a couple days?
I leave them in the freezer until about an hour before serving then they can stay in the fridge. Enjoy!
I made these, froze them & put them into the refrigerator one hour before serving but ended up with some left over. Am I able to refreeze them?
If they stayed cold you could refreeze.
Can u make them as shots
They basically are a shot. However, with the pudding being so thick they are different in that manner.
