Here’s the down and dirty about this camper: 37′ Keystone Retreat DQ
It came with the lake lot we bought. As far as we know it had been winterized and everything had worked.
We have a lot to work with since it is such a big camper. But being that it is so big means it’s perfect for when we have family out at the lake.
Things that I appreciate that it has:
- patio awning
- two large slide-outs
- tub and shower surround
- bunk beds for kids
- separate room for the main bed
- outdoor shower
- room for the recliner
- large sliding patio door
There’s quite a bit that I’d like to update. First we will start with ripping out the flooring. Then move to painting the walls and cabinets.
The flooring is already pealing up and the carpet is stained and gross. I can’t wait to get it out of there. I’ll probably spray pain the fixtures until we have time to replace with more modern ones. I have been watching videos on how to paint camper walls correctly. Seems like the biggest thing is to degrease and then be sure to get a good primer on.
Here’s a sneak peak of the color scheme I am looking to use.
