No huge balloon arches here or Pinterest worthy crafts, but I do love a cute theme to go with our parties. Since our one year-old didn’t have a whole lot of preference on his own birthday party plans this momma took the liberty of choosing one.

Toy Story it was. My baby shower was actually Toy Story themed so I repurposed some of the decorations. Smart thinking on my part, I know. 😉 

There were a few items found on Amazon that helped take the party to the next level though. For instance, the Woody cowboy hat. So cute! 

Our cake was made by a local baker, Kim with Batter and Bowls. She also went above and beyond with the creativity and made the awesome Forky cupcakes. However, being a farm and having a party outside has its downside. The lovely barn cat was just about to enjoy the cake.. In the hurry of scaring the cat away I smudged the lettering so we sacrificed some of it while salvaging the cake. 

Overall, we had a great day. This theme could easily be used for other years as well. One idea is “Two Infinity and Beyond.”
